Ride or Wrong Privacy Policy

Ride or Wrong is published by Hazcub (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app.

Core single-player gameplay can be used without community features. If you use Ride or Wrong community features, the app uses Apple Game Center, iCloud, and CloudKit to store and sync community data.

1. Summary

  • No third-party ads or tracking: Ride or Wrong does not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking.
  • No analytics SDKs: We do not use third-party analytics services to track you across apps or websites.
  • Optional community features: Community play is optional, but if you use it, player-linked community data is stored through Apple services.
  • In-app purchases: Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.

2. Information We Collect and Process for Community Features

If you use Ride or Wrong community features, we may collect and store:

  • your Game Center player identifier
  • your Game Center display name
  • your community badge and profile data, including selected title and community progression
  • an avatar image snapshot taken from your Game Center profile when badge data is synced
  • community quizzes you create, including pool name, description, icon choice, ride selection, and related metadata
  • private cloud drafts for community quizzes
  • gameplay and social records tied to community play, including scores, leaderboard entries, likes, follows, blocks, reports, and challenge records
  • deletion request records and moderation-related records needed to review reports, enforce blocks, and process account deletion
  • community notification preferences and related CloudKit subscription records

If you do not use community features, Ride or Wrong does not require you to create an account directly with Hazcub.

3. How We Use This Information

We use this information to:

  • publish and display community quizzes
  • attribute quizzes, scores, and challenge activity to the correct player
  • power leaderboards, likes, follows, blocks, reports, notifications, and direct challenges
  • moderate user-generated content and enforce community safety controls
  • sync your community badge, profile, and cloud drafts across devices
  • process community account deletion requests

4. In-App Purchases

If you buy an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We may receive non-identifying purchase information needed to unlock content, such as product identifiers and confirmation that a purchase is active, expired, or cancelled.

We do not receive your:

  • payment card details
  • billing address
  • full purchase history outside the app

Apple may process personal data to provide App Store and in-app purchase services in accordance with Apple’s own privacy policy.

5. Data Sharing and Storage

Hazcub does not sell your personal data.

Ride or Wrong community data is stored using Apple services, including Game Center, iCloud, and CloudKit. Public community records may be visible to other Ride or Wrong players where needed for community features, including creator attribution, profiles, leaderboards, published quizzes, and challenges.

We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising.

6. Data Retention

Community records are retained for as long as needed to operate community features, moderate user-generated content, enforce safety controls, and process account deletion requests.

If you submit a community account deletion request, local community data is cleared from your current device immediately, and community actions are paused while the request is processed.

When the request is completed, Ride or Wrong removes app-managed community data tied to that player from distribution, including public profile and badge records, published community quizzes, public score records, challenge records, and related social records as applicable.

7. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Ride or Wrong community account directly in the app:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Open Community
  3. Tap Request Account Deletion

If you contact us, you may also have rights under applicable data protection laws, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about your use of Ride or Wrong community features.

8. Children

Ride or Wrong includes user-generated content in community features. Parents and guardians should review the app’s age rating and community features before allowing a child to use them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
